Chatty on Bay, Toronto, 2016

This woman is in intense conversation with another woman at a busy intersection in the financial district. I managed to fire off two images before they noticed my presence. This is the only one that works because it captures the one woman’s gestures and smiles. I love the way her one arm is almost behind her head and her other hand is griping onto the cell phone, something so typical and characteristic about this time in our society. She also has a really interesting expression that for me makes the image.
