Snow Day, Toronto, 2018

This photograph was made from a hotel window on the Esplande. I had stayed overnight in Toronto because I had a camera club presentation, taking advantage of 2 full days of shooting on the street. It was February and a big winter storm blew into the city. Loving to shoot in a variety of weather this was an opportunity to see and photograph the financial district during a big storm. Once the streets were covered with snow I looked out of the window and saw this scene before me. Thinking of a street scene I had seen at some point of time, I was intrigued by the twos. The cars, the parking meters poles or bike locking poles and the two people walking.
