Emerging Forest

I used a technique in this photograph to enhance the softness of the emerging spring leaves. A slightly out of focus copy of the original photograph was merged with the original which is sometimes called an Orton Technique. I am upfront about the process as manipulating photographs is something I usually don’t do; yet in this circumstance it worked well and brought forth the delicate hues of spring. The photograph was made from the Eagle’s Nest in Bancroft, Ontario.
