Rise thorugh the Cedar

Utilizing shadows and the shapes they create is one of most favourite aspects of shooting into a bright light situation. In this circumstance the light was low enough that I was able to retain some detail in the shadow area, which was especially necessary in this photography since the shadow area made up such a large part of the photograph
