Straighten Up

As a society we live in two different places, a private one at home and at work and a public one on the streets. Our privacy to be photographed is not violated in these public spaces where I make photographs and in many cases needs to be documented for a historical context. In fact, candid portraits have historically served as documentation of life and a curiosity of our society. Everything is photographical, with the biggest challenge being to make the image interesting. To capture a moment or a unique slice of life is the end goal of such a candid and passing endeavour.
