Projects and Series

Spending the time to work on and create a series of photographs gives the photographer a unique body of work that represents his or her true passions. It creates a better likelihood for recognition because, as a group, a series of photographs gives a photographer a stronger voice. It also creates more marketing options in that a series can be used in a potential book and or for print exhibition.  


The images shown in these series galleries represent only a choice number of images as most of these series contain many more images.

Photography is something to fall back on: a tool that can be easily welded at a moments notice. It can make the ordinary interesting.


Good still photography is more relevant today than ever before as there is a need for people to linger, pause in their busy lives and spend time understanding a single image.

Port Hope, Ontario

The City of Port Hope is located on the Canadian shore of Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Ganaraska River also known as the “Ganny” to locals. Port Hope is situated 110 kilometers east of Toronto and 160 kilometers west of Kingston. The city is nestled in Northumberland County, with the second largest population in the county of 17,000. Geographically Northumberland is a diverse and unique county, being sandwiched between Lake Ontario in the south and Rice Lake in the North

The biggest influence in my life, after my family, is the landscapes and people of Canada. Through the lens of the camera, I am able to document, see and better understand the world around me. Using this tool and traveling across Canada’s cities, rural and natural landscapes over the past 50 years, I have been gifted a unique perspective on the diversity and stark beauty of this vast country. This book represents a travelogue of my journeys, the stories, encounters as well as some detailed historical and geographical facts of various locations from the Atlantic to the Pacific coasts.

Great Northern Peninsula

Newfoundland and Labrador

The Great Northern Peninsula is located at the western end of Newfoundland. It extends from Bonne Bay and Gros Morne National Park in the south to the City of St Anthony’s in the north. A distance of 270 kilometers with one main highway called the Viking Trail. The peninsula provides an abundance of hiking trails to walk and photograph including The Long-Range Mountains (an extension of the Appalachian Mountain chain), miles of seacoast, deep fjords, a Viking village, a National Park and many wonders of geology

Transitory Inhabitants


The mass influx of people into and out of Toronto’s downtown financial district during the weekday is the focus of the project. It has been estimated that 250,000 people per day commuted into the downtown core every workday during the 2016 to 2020 period. Toronto’s downtown is characterized by tall skyscrapers, home to Canada’s largest concentration of banking and financial services, and the financial district is second in size in North America only to New York City.
