Limited Edition Archival Prints
From $ 300 to $500
Quality prints are extremely important to me as a photographer. In fact, I don’t believe a photograph is completed until it is printed. Prints are excellent for displays, exhibitions and just to hold as a historic document.
Print size available is 13 x 19 (A3+) and are printed on Canson Baryta archival paper as a Giclee print.Prints can be either matted or un matted depending upon preference. Each printed photograph offered has a limited edition of 15 and comes signed and dated with a Certificate of Authenticity. When the series of 15 is sold out the print is retired from sale.
Prices are $300 for the print only and $350 for the print and mat. The dimensions of the Mat and print together are 18x24 inches. Shipping is extra.

I am an experienced educator priding myself in interacting with a variety of photographers whether new or experienced. I prefer in person learning, although I have done many online presentations.

As a documentary photographer it is extremely important for me to photograph the world during my time. As the great street photographer Gary Winogrand once said, "Everything it photographical".
Traveling across the country I have photographed many rural, urban and natural locations including cities such as Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Natural areas such as Grasslands National Park, Gros Morne National Park, Presquile Provincial Park and many others.
My rates for assignments vary depending on time required. I am open to any proposals and have enjoyed working for many commerical and individual clients.

Documentary Street Presentation
An evening presentation consisting of two parts. First is 1 hour and second is 45 minutes
Street photography has recently had a renaissance. More and more people are discovering the challenges and rewards of making images in urban areas. Yet, the challenges of capturing good street photography are huge. Life and interactions on the street move quickly, changing in a second. The ability to capture street life requires quick reflexes, the ability to get close to subjects and a competence to anticipate interactions. Making successful images requires dedication, focus and consistency to succeed. All the skills and abilities one develops as a photographer are necessary to make truly significant images. The lure of street photography is this necessary mix of technical prowess, combined with the potential to make something really significant and unique.
Documentary Street Photography was developed because of my own passion for street photographer over the past five years. The program is a teaching program utilizing photographs from master street photographers both classic and modern as well as my own photographs from the past few years on the street. The goal is to best illustrate the teaching points with excellent photography.
This presentation has successfully been delivered to camera clubs across Canada.

Basic Photography Skills Workshop
A full day beginners workshop in person only
This one-day workshop is an introduction to photography for beginners who want a foundation from which to build their skills. It begins with a discussion of position and timing, two fundamental aspects of photography and moves through some of the important aspects of photography such as light, design aspects and basic technical aspects such as: the exposure triangle, depth of field and camera details. There is also time allocated for making photographs in the field and for sending a photograph for analysis after the class.
